CT166 & CT167 Tiltbed Transporters The CT166 and CT167 Tiltbed Transporters are specifically designed for transporting low-clearance vehicles, making them an ideal solution for vehicle recovery operators, motorsport users and professional vehicle transport applications. Combining the proven strength and versatility of the Ifor Williams Flatbed range with the convenience of a hydraulically tilting platform, these trailers provide fast, safe and efficient loading for a wide variety of vehicles. The range consists of two models: • CT166 – 4.77m long x 1.98m wide loading platform • CT167 – 4.77m long x 2.25m wide loading platform Both models feature a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg, providing excellent payload capacity while maintaining outstanding towing performance. The tilt function is operated via a manual hydraulic pump, allowing the trailer bed to be lowered smoothly and safely for loading. With a low loading angle of approximately 12 degrees, combined with a drop-down tail ramp, the CT166 and CT167 make loading vehicles quick and straightforward, even for sports cars, performance vehicles and other low-clearance applications. For additional versatility, an optional extended 0.91m (3ft) loading ramp is available, further reducing the loading angle and making the transport of particularly low vehicles even easier.
