Case IH Adds New Vestrum Tractor Series To Livestock Portfolio
Case IH recently introduced its new Vestrum series tractor. The company says the new tractor, created with livestock operations in mind, offers the comfort and power of a high-horsepower tractor in a compact design that’s perfect for hay and forage work.
About The Vestrum Series
The series currently includes two models, the Vestrum 100 and the Vestrum130; each features a 28.5-gallon-per-minute hydraulic pump, a four-cylinder engine with wastegate turbocharger, and a lift capacity of 6,700 pounds. The tractors’ short wheel base, 55-degree steering angle, and smaller chassis make them easy to maneuver in tight spaces; this in turn makes them ideal for working with specialty crops. At the same time, their considerable power enables them to perform applications like planting and baling or even snow removal. All 2020 Vestrum series tractors are covered by a two-year, 2,000-hour factory warranty.
Transmission Options
The Vestrum series comes with two transmission options, a continuously variable transmission or a dual-clutch transmission. The CVXDrive variable transmission automatically selects the most efficient gear ratio and engine speed. The ActiveDrive8 dual-clutch transmission offers a wide range of working speeds without torque interruptions.
Comfortable Cab
The cab offers a 360-degree view of operations and is compatible with optional Advanced Farming Systems and ISOBUS technologies. For convenience and comfort, the cab is equipped with Case IH’s MultiControl armrest and a Bluetooth-compatible radio.
“Before the Vestrum, producers couldn’t get a tractor in the 100 horsepower class with this amount of versatility and comfort,” says Case IH Farmall Marketing Manager Greg Lucey. “This all-purpose, premium tractor offers a range of functionality in a class all of its own.”
