Toro has revamped its 22-inch (559-millimeter) Recycler line of walk-behind mowers with a variety of performance and comfort features. The Recycler family includes both gasoline-powered units and Flex-Force models that run on 60-volt batteries.

"Toro has been long recognized as the innovator in helping customers care for their property," says Aran Brosnan, senior marketing manager at Toro. "Part of that innovation includes new features, such as the Vortex Technology on the enhanced Recycler mowers, which increases airflow to supercharge grass cutting."

Extra airflow increases the velocity of grass clippings around the cutting chamber, resulting in finer mulch.

    Branded Features

When the Recycler mower is used with its newly designed Super Bagger, its Vortex Technology promotes better filling of the bag. The Super Bagger has a new, tapered bag design that’s easier to empty.

Toro says the Recycler’s Personal Pace Auto-Drive automatically senses the operator’s walking pace and adjusts the mower’s travel speed accordingly. This is in contrast to other self-propelled mowers with a lever or other means of adjusting the forward speed. The Recycler’s handle is inspired by a steering wheel, Toro says, and its arc, telescoping handle, and bail require 50% less force to engage.

    Warranty Protection

“With the enhanced Recycler lineup, homeowners can receive all the core benefits of these new technologies powered by both battery and gas options,” says Brosnan. Toro provides a 2-year full warranty on Recycler mowers. Gas engine models get three years of “guaranteed-to-start” coverage, while electric units receive a full 3-year warranty on their batteries.
