New Holland Introduces New Roll-Belt Variable-Chamber Balers
New Holland recently debuted two new Roll-Belt variable-chamber round balers with multiple feeding options and upgraded components. The balers have ISOBUS connectivity for plug-and-play touchscreen operation and optional telematics to monitor and record tasks remotely.
“With the Roll-Belt PLUS series, we’re delivering a smarter, stronger, and more connected solution for today’s farmers,” says Global Hay and Forage Product Manager Laurent Libbrecht. “These machines are built to perform in the toughest conditions, while giving operators and managers the data they need to make informed decisions in real time.”
About Roll-Belt Plus Balers
The Roll-Belt 180 Plus produces bales up to 1.8 metres (5.9 feet) in diameter, while the 150 Plus produces bales up to 1.5 m (4.9 ft). The balers have upgraded chains, rollers, and bearings to improve durability and minimise downtime.
High-Tech Features
When paired with a compatible tractor, the ISOBUS interface allows operators to use features such as Tractor-Baler Automation and automate the Stop, Wrap, Eject, and Start functions. IntelliView IV Plus replaces the previous keypad interface with a full-color touchscreen and provides fast access to key functions and performance data. Operators and managers can use FieldOps to remotely track location and individual bale data.
Designed For Durability
The Roll-Belt Plus series has a redesigned seamless roll with wear-resistant steel that is 3.5 times thicker than previous models. The baler’s triple-lip bearings seal against dirt and other contaminants. The high-tensile chains on all Rotor Cutter and Rotor Feeder models further increase durability.
