Customers asked and John Deere listened. The 2020 Deere E-series knuckle boom loader models come with redesigned features to improve operator comfort, with special attention paid to noise and heat reduction.

    New Features

One of the biggest changes to the cab is the removal of the rear and left back windows, a move intended to reduce heat and noise. Optional features for the 2020 models include a heated and ventilated seat, premium radio with Bluetooth, a cell phone holder with power supply, and an in-cab cooler. Owners also have a choice from three lighting packages for low-light conditions.

The 337E has a 30-foot (9.144 meters) horizontal boom reach and a lift capacity of 19,798 pounds (8,980 kilograms). The 437E has a 32-ft (9.8 m) horizontal boom reach and a 25,860-pound (11,730 kilograms) lift capacity. The E-series models have fast boom and swing speeds and a dedicated swing circuit for continuous power for delimbing and loading.

    Meeting Customers’ Needs

“Since the introduction of the E-Series machines, we continued to speak with customers and collect their feedback so we can ensure our machines meet their needs,” says Brandon O’Neal, product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “Customers are concerned with comfort and fuel costs, especially as they manage labor challenges and tightening budgets. With the improvements we have made over the last two years, we are able to provide our customers with immediate solutions for their business.”
